Abbey Springs Gatehouse - Fontana, WI
The next phase was the replacement of the Main Guardhouse at the entry to the residential community and club, and the Yacht Club Guardhouse. The main Guardhouse was more than doubled in size, giving security personnel the proper facilities needed. The Abbey Springs vernacular of granite boulder and heavy timber was maintained, while offering a fresh new look for this “first impression” structure for the community. A smaller but similar structure was designed for the Yacht Club side. Built by Contractor Rob Coyle, the Guardhouse was completed in Fall 2008.
